    Not a little black dress

final1 Not a little black dressfinal1 Not a little black dress

Ahoy friends! I hope this September is gliding along smoothly for you! I’m suffering from tired Tuesday this afternoon, so instead of being productive I’m day dreaming.

Coming to the outfit. I had this black dress from a very long time, but I never wore it because it was full length and full length stuff doesn’t suit me (story of short people). It never occurred to me to get this dress altered until recently. I am not a big fan of short dresses, I really like wearing knee length dresses and three fourths (they make me look taller :)). There are many ways to layer this dress, I’ve paired this up oxford shoes because I wanted to do a minimal sort of look. This dress can also be paired up with a denim jacket (perfect for October kinda weather) or a plaid shirt and boots (if you wish to go grunge).

Got more ideas? Would love to know!

    Until next time!

    Rock vibes and more..

creative1 Rock vibes and more..Is there anything more enjoyable than listening to good music and dressing up in your favourite bands tee? Not for me! Music has always been a very important part of my life. It’s like having my own music festival going on in my head and it always leaves me with a big, stupid grin on my face. Really. I’ve always loved wearing band t-shirts, I feel so confident in them – for all the right reasons! They make me feel like myself, free and just a little unexpected.

Here I’ve paired this really cool Beatles T-shirt (gifted) with black pants and oxford shoes (gifted). That’s how I keep it usually in the summers when it comes to rocker-chic wardrobes. In winters I like to pair them up with ankle length boots and a jacket of some kind.

I also like to pair up band t-shirts with mid knee length skirts and sneakers. There are plenty of other ways to style them ofcourse. But I think it’s really important to know your own personal style before you plan to incorporate anything else. So – Goodluck!
