Music

Classics and More!

Hey there! Been a long time since I posted here. Well, I started working after a year and trust me it has totally changed my life.  I’ve worked a copywriter for almost 5 years (just worked, not my passion). So I wanted to shift and I started learning web design and landed in this job. It’s crazy, copywriting was totally different of course and it was a much relaxed. But this, this job leaves me with no time. I enjoy all the new things I am learning but it’s crazy hectic. Sigh!

Because I have been so busy, I have had no time to explore new music. Man I miss it! Haha. So I am going to tell you my all time favourite songs. No matter how much I listen to them, I don’t get bored of them at all.  Like fashion trends come and go but classics are classics. I guess it works the same way with music. Everyone is listening to shape of you these days, but you will be over with it in a week. Or may be less. But those classic are forever. So here are my few all time favourites.

In no specific order –

  1. Comfortably Numb – Pink Floyd.
  2. Come as you are – Nirvana
  3. Time – Pink Floyd
  4. American Pie – Don Mclean
  5. Wish you were here – Pink Floyd
  6. Jesus of Suburbia – Green Day
  7. There is a light that never goes out – The Smiths
  8. Beautiful day – U2
  9. What goes around comes around – Justin Timberlake
  10. Learn to fly – Foo Fighters

Did you really think I am going to end this without a new song? Nope! So I came across this new song called Cold Little Heart by Michael Kiwanuka through a TV Show called Big Little Lies. It’s the theme song of the show and loved it the first time I heard it. Michael Kiwanuka’s music has a lot of Pink Floyd vibe to it I feel – I don’t know may be its just me. I also liked Black man in a White World. I still have to explore more music from him because honestly I love it so far! Listen to him and tell me what you think. Would you? 😛

Also I would love some recommendations. Please!
